ABOUT >
WHAT IS IADD?
IADD – ‘International Age Diversity Day’ is a global day celebrating all generations in the workplace.
The day also marks a call to action to not overlook age, as part of the D&I agenda or business performance strategies. A work environment of equal opportunities is an enabled workforce, how will you help forge a multi-generational world?
The day is to celebrate all age group achievement, raise awareness of barriers and bias, but to also recognise good practice.

WHY >
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT
Age diversity strengthens organisations by bringing together different experiences, perspectives, and skills. Research increasingly shows that multigenerational teams contribute to:
- stronger collaboration
- better decision-making
- improved innovation
- greater organisational resilience.
Creating workplaces where people of all ages feel valued and supported is not only the right thing to do, it is becoming a benchmark for forward-looking organisations.

THEME >
2026 Theme – Set the Benchmark
Age inclusion is still overlooked within many organisational diversity strategies. The organisations that take action today are helping to define the standard for the future of work.
International Age Diversity Day 2026 invites organisations around the world to set the benchmark for age inclusion by: recognising the value of age-diverse teams; measuring progress through benchmarking; and taking practical steps to improve inclusion across all age groups.
By participating, organisations can help create workplaces where people of all ages can contribute, develop, and thrive.
